A Description of the Walks on this DVD
The first half of your walk begins in London's "Little Venice,"
a section of the Regent's Canal just north of Kensington Gardens.
You will start walking beside Aberdeen Place, one street over from
St. John's Wood Road.
The first bridge you pass under is the Edgware Road Bridge. You then continue
beside Bloomfield Road, one of the most desirable mooring sights in London.
The narrowboats you pass along the towpath have kept alive
a folk art tradition: elaborately-painted panels featuring harlequin designs.
As your Little Venice Walk ends, you will feel as if you have enjoyed a country stroll!
The second section of your walk begins in the Canonbury section of London,
in Islington, on the New River Walk.
You'll enjoy the walk beside a tranquil stream, over a narrow wooden bridge
and through the beautifully landscaped park.
Your 30 minute walk in London ends as you pass through a wrought-iron gate,
and back into city life.
You'll enjoy this 30 minute walk either with the lively, upbeat music
or with the natural sounds recorded on site as this video was made.
Both soundtracks are included on the DVD!
As a BONUS you get....
A separate chapter with a 12-minute mini-documentary
on London is also included on the DVD!
The documentary takes you to the familiar sites of London,
from Big Ben and Westminster Abbey......
... to the London Eye and the Tower of London,
to Royal Ascot and English ladies in funny hats.....
it's all on this mini-documentary!
And remember, this makes a unique gift for family and friends!
